Your provider uses the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed and reviews it with you regularly. Do not use if you have had breast cancer, a blood clot, stroke, heart attack, liver disease or unexplained vaginal bleeding, or if you are pregnant. Tell your provider about migraines, high blood pressure, smoking, gallbladder disease and any planned surgery. Common side effects: breast tenderness, headache, nausea, bloating and spotting.
